Cinnamon Sugar is a staple at my house. We keep a sprinkle jar of it next to the toaster… so we can whip up Cinnamon Toast (my son’s favorite) at a moments notice.
I also sprinkle it on my coffee or cocoa (especially when I’ve already topped it with whipped cream)
Cinnamon Sugar is a sweet treat with a hint of heat… so it’s perfect for fall and winter…

Cinnamon Sugar Ingredients-
1/2 cup granulated Sugar
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Mix together (I use a shaker, but you can easily mix up Cinnamon Sugar in a Small Bowl. )
You can go crazy and add more sugar or more cinnamon, see how you like it this way first. That’s it… mystery solved.
Now you can make-
Cinnamon toast is a great breakfast, a lovely snack, and a very calming treat when you’re feeling sick or sad.
Suppose it’s cold out, raining, you’ve had a horrible day. Too yucky even for baking (that’s pretty yucky). What do you make?
Mix sugar and cinnamon together as instructed above… I keep some of the mix in a shaker next to the toaster.
Toast some toast… your favorite kind. Slather it with butter, sprinkle it with gobs of cinnamon sugar.
If the butter hasn’t melted… set it on top of the toaster to get the heat.
When the butter has melted, the cinnamon sugar is wet and sweet.
Sit down in a comfy chair, and enjoy.
The world is a sweeter place….
